With the new year also comes lots of amazing opportunities. Don’t try to do them all unless you really have that much time! Let me just list what’s coming this month.

New Bible reading plans – Pick up our new Bible reading plans at Guest Services or subscribe online. Remember our plan is one chapter a day, five days a week. We are starting the book of Psalms.

One Word – Don’t forget to prayerfully choose one word to focus on for 2018. You can watch the message I did this year on One Word. The One Word cards are available at Guest Services or you can download your One Word card and share your One Word via social media using the hashtag #oneword.

The New and Improved Compass – This is an amazing tool we created to help you identify where you are at in your spiritual journey and discover some resources to help you continue to grow in your faith. You can take The Compass by going to mypantano.church/compass. Taking The Compass is primarily designed to help you, but we also collect the anonymous data (not tied to your name) to help us see if we are providing the right resources to help our whole church to grow. So taking The Compass helps you and our whole church.

Classes starting – We have some great classes starting this week. Don’t miss Financial Peace University, Parenting the Love and Logic way, PathLight (a great missions-focused class), SHAPE, marriage and family classes, Bible studies and so much more! Go to pantano.church/classes to find out more details about the classes and sign up.

Baptism – Our first baptism Sunday of 2018 will happen during all our Sunday services on January 21st. Go to MyPantano for more information. Call Marci at the church office at 520.298.5395 x203 if you have any questions.

Feed My Starving Children MobilePackTM – We are packing 400,000 nutritious meals on January 23-27. The packing times are already full, including a number of local schools and church youth groups who will join us! Way to go Pantano!

Together 4Tucson Conference4Tucson is holding their first annual conference at the Marriott Starr Pass on Saturday, January 27, from 8am-5pm. There are folks coming from all over the country to see how we are able to unite the church to see city transformation happen in Tucson. This is an opportunity to find your specific part or role in what God is doing in and for Tucson. Click here for more information and to sign up.

MyPantano – All of the information here in this blog can be found on our website designed just for folks at our church. That’s why we call it MyPantano! The current or big events will be here as well as things we refer to in the Sunday messages. Check it out. Our main public website, pantano.church, is designed more for those who are new or considering visiting Pantano, but does include things we all might want – like access to watching the weekend messages.

We have an abundance of opportunties here at Pantano.  Perhaps one or several of these is a good fit for you!
