At Pantano, we believe we will not grow in our faith or achieve the life God calls us to on our own. There is an innate longing in every person to be part of a community where they can be their true selves and see others for who and what they really are. We facilitate three types of Groups where you can connect and be known. A Group is a small community of people who join together to connect with one another for a purpose. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. (Prov. 27:17)

First Place 4 Health

The First Place 4 Health program is the result of a godly desire placed in the hearts of a group of Christians in Houston, Texas in 1981. Their desire was to establish a Christ-centered weight control program that addressed all areas of life-physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. The resulting program is designed as three 12 week sessions per year-winter, spring and fall. Members stay with the same group for the entire season, encouraging and challenging one another to meet their fitness goals. Hands and Feet is a Group that enables all of Pantano's members to be a part of an online community. The purpose of this Group is to be able to help meet the needs of others in our congregation. You might simply be in need of a prayer or you may need help changing your cooler pads. We will vet the request and send it out to our Group. All people with different talents and gifts are called to lead, and we can work together to build our community with our church. If a neighbor needs help, let Hands and Feet know. The King's Man

Awaken You Sleeping Giant! "There is No move of God without good men of God."

"GET IN"

When a man commits to pursuing and deepening his male friendships in a safe group context, he will sustain momentum to grow spiritually and achieve personal changes faster than he ever could on his own.

"GET HEALTHY"

Men need to go after core health in their own character and relationships. Through open discussion where men share who they are and what is really happening in their lives. If the most real and relevant issues remain unaddressed and untouched, the rest of what a man may learn or accomplish through his connection with other men will be short-lived in both his life and church contexts.

"GET STRONG"

The natural progression from personal transformation in a man's life is active leadership training. Practically, men will feel themselves going to the next level of commitment personally, spiritually, and practically in ministry. Strong spiritual formation leads to strong spiritual expression of the Great Commandment and Great Commission.

"GET GOING"

Healthy, strong, trained men are deployed to serve the church and their mission in the world to aggressively share the Gospel. A church that empowers transformation of men helps itself by winning the loyalty, energy, and expression of its men toward the larger needs, mission, and vision of the church.

Wild Hearts

This Group is based loosely on John Eldridges' book "Wild At Heart." We are a group for men and their sons with a strong emphasis on Scripture. Our mission is to help fathers become true men of God and to equip them in teaching and leading their sons to also become true men of God. It's dangerous, and wild, and scary; and it's a challenge that cannot be ignored. Come and grow with us as we learn from Scripture, and learn a new "life skill" each time we meet.

This Group will meet every third Saturday of the month at 5:30 PM.

ZUMBA

Zumba takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity & high-intensity moves for a fun calorie-burning dance fitness party, which can be modified for all fitness levels. Zumba routines are done to music from around the world including Latin rhythms, pop, country, funk etc. Zumba® fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. A fun way for us ladies to come together sweat, laugh, smile and dance the calories away. Good for the Heart & Soul!
