On a hill were three crosses. Three men would die. Only two were guilty. One of the guilty men had no regret for his wrongs. In pride he played the victim and was selfishly stubborn. The other guilty man had true regret for his actions. One wanted Jesus to fix the mess, the other wanted a clean heart and a second chance. The third man between them was the Son of God – the only one truly innocent who alone can give grace and mercy. And God raised him from the dead to offer all not just a chance to fix our messes, but to have a clean heart for eternity.
