Bible Basics is a 9-week interactive class held on Pantano East campus. Students will experience an overview of the basic structure of the Bible, important Christian doctrines, and a four-step process for Bible study. Students discover the overarching themes of Scripture, and more. Bible Basics is for students who wish to learn how to study the Bible in context or refresh their skills for studying or teaching. Homework is required. Also required is access to a computer, a wi-fi connection, a printer, and a Bible. Cost for the class curriculum is $20.00 (1 per student.) This is a $60.00 course taken elsewhere!

We are inviting all parents of children birth thru teen to join us for a 4 week parenting class on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00pm, September 08 – September 29 located In room ED 9 &10, taught by Robin Blumenthal.

Through video, workbooks and discussion, you will learn to take the stress out of parenting! GriefShare is a Care Group where you can get support for your broken heart after the death of a loved one and equips you on your travel from mourning to joy. Ages 18-104. A side effect of this study is a closer walk with Jesus.

All are welcome to begin attending this 13-week GriefShare Group at any time. Each session is “self-contained,” so one does not have to attend in sequence and may continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the sessions missed.
Participant Workbook fee of $15.00.

We offer GriefShare both on campus and online:

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees to attend.

Our open AA meeting is also listed in the Tucson Intergroup Schedule.

Pantano Page Turners is a Group for all adults that enjoy reading and are looking for a once a month book club group!
We meet on the last Monday of the month online using Zoom from 6:30pm-8pm.
You will have the option of volunteering to host a meeting. Host duties include picking the book and coming with a few discussion questions in case the conversation needs help to get going. You are welcome even if all you did was glance at the blurb about the book!

Ready Writers, Psalm 45:1- We are a Group of writers who focus on using our gifts to glorify God. We welcome writers of all experience levels, and all styles, including journaling, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, etc. There will be a time of discussion and a time of critiquing works that members have submitted.

CPT is responsible for the initial weekend preparation of Communion before the first weekend service. This preparation is to dispensing cups and juice into communion trays and arranging them in the refrigerator by ministry need.

Volunteers welcome and greet guests and provide information during our weekend services.

Do you enjoy people? If so, you are invited to be a part of our Host Team as a greeter. Greeters are asked to come 20 minutes early for their weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly duty (depending on the schedule you choose).

Do you know that we have over 750 people attend each of our services? This team holds a very important role…we serve Communion and collect Offering at every service. Choose one service a month or serve at every service you attend!

Do you enjoy working on a crew that does rigging, carpentry, stage electrics, stage lighting, audio/projection, video, and props? If so, you consider joining the Tech Team!

The Tech Team provides sound, lighting, data and video capturing and editing for weekend services and events.

Scheduling consists of weekly, bi-weekly and monthly commitment depending on your schedule and our needs.

Help us welcome children and their families as they arrive to service on Sunday mornings! Looking for friendly, welcoming people to greet and security band our parents and children. (This volunteer opportunity allows you to serve and still make it in to the same service with your family).

We have many opportunities to serve in our Children’s Ministry as a behind the scenes volunteer.

In office: laundry, sanitizing the toys in the rooms, re-organizing drawers and cabinets in classrooms, monthly birthday and “we miss you” card writing (can be done from home too) and weekly sanitizing of the busy boxes.

Take home projects available throughout the year as needed!

We serve meals on Sunday mornings as well as for special events.

Let’s Dance is a women’s dance fitness class using amazing music from around the world. Similar to other dance exercise classes, routines are done to a variety of music. Including all Latin rhythms, pop, oldies, caribbean & more! Plus, the intensity can be modified to fit most fitness levels. If you want to smile as you sweat with a great group of ladies then this is for you! Good for the Heart & Soul!
We meet each Monday evening at 6:15pm in the Student Union.

We will do our best to use caution & space ourselves accordingly. But this is an exercise class that requires moving & breathing.
So, if you are not comfortable or at high risk please do not rejoin class at this time. You can join us when you are able.
And, of course, don’t come if you have been exposed to someone with Covid and are not out of your 2 week quarantine.

Do you enjoy praying with people one-on-one? Consider serving in this area by praying with anyone who may have a need or prayer request after any PCC service. This usually happens at the front of the auditorium immediately following service. We have a new Prayer Garden area added for a more quiet, serene atmosphere!

We are a community of artists and technicians who use our gifts and talents as a means to reach the unreached and make our world different.

Requirements: skill & heart to serve in this type of leadership position; available for Thurs/Saturday rehearsals and all weekend services when scheduled; open to learning; must have a reasonable command of the instrument played; and must be able to read chord charts.
