Rejected/Abandoned parents – you are not alone.
One of the hardest things to experience is the betrayal wound that occurs when your own child grows up to hate you.
Parents who have been rejected by a child experience a type of pain that is not matched by any other. This support group will allow parents the opportunity to:
*Seek support by connecting with those that understand estrangement and can help
*Seek connection by investing in people and activities that can help restore a sense of your identity as a person and meaning in your life.
*Seek forgiveness-put focus on learning the self-forgiveness process
“You can’t be a parent and not make mistakes. This does not mean that your mistakes are the reason for your estrangement or that you deserve it.”-Coleman
Starting in April 2023 – We’ll meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month on campus from 4pm-5pm.

Do you want to stop beating yourself up over the numbers on the scale and make peace with your body? Do you want to replace rationalizations about food that lead to failure, with wisdom that leads to victory? Do you want to reach your healthy goals while growing closer to God in the process?
Made to Crave is the missing link between your desire to be healthy and the relationship with God that will help you get there.
In this group study we support one another to move from feeling deprived, desperate, guilty, consumed, and ashamed to feeling empowered, determined, peaceful, courageous, and loved.
Our MADE to CRAVE support/study group is open to all adults.
We meet on Saturdays from 9am-10:30am in the 85747 zip code. Each member will need a copy of ‘Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, Not Food’ by Lysa TerKeurst as well the participant guide.

Surrendering the Secret: Healing the Heartache of Abortion
Many women hide the secret of abortion deep in their hearts and they are suffering severe consequences. They carry a great burden of shame and failure, afraid to reveal their hidden pain, and by doing so are forced to endure the long-lasting effects in isolation.
Surrendering the Secret will allow women to release this burden and find freedom through ‘redemptive community’ while experiencing hope and joy, as shame and failure are replaced with beauty.
Surrendering the Secret is a powerful 8-step Bible study that helps hurting women find the path to healing and freedom through the hope of Scripture, meaningful hands-on experiences, unique journaling exercises, and a confidential, caring community of women who understand your pain. Through this study you will understand how God wants to use your past to find freedom and purpose in your future.
While there is no fee for the Bible study, you will need to purchase a copy of the Surrendering the Secret study guide, available from Amazon or Lifeway.
We meet on Mondays from 6pm-8pm on campus. Ladies are welcome to join at any time.

This online Zoom group is for women who have experienced intimacy betrayal of any type: pornography, physical/emotional affair(s) or physical “acting out” on another level (e.g., massage parlors, strip clubs, escorts, etc.).
This is a safe place to identify and grieve your losses and begin to process what has happened to you. We recognize that while approximately 70% of women in this painful place initially experience symptoms of post traumatic stress, the leaders are not licensed professional counselors.
A Bible-based support group like this can be a wonderful place to know you are not alone- that you will never be judged or given advice you’re not seeking- and that we are not here to “fix” one another. Our healing does not come when we isolate in our pain. It seems Jesus does His most effective healing work in safe community with other women who share a similar experience and who understand your pain.
Come and join us. You will be encouraged to participate in a study guide with weekly journaling and “homework”.
If this day and time do not work for you yet you are seeking support, please contact Cindy for possible options.
We meet online each Wednesday at 4:30pm. Contact the Group Leader, Cindy at (847) 630-1388, or fill out the form below for more details.
