Faith in Action

Put your faith into action by being a catalytic force to bless southern Arizona and the world by serving in one of our many Pantano outreach partners. This Faith In Action Expo will be focused on poverty alleviation.

Spy Kids Academy

Join us for an evening of training in secret missions and discoveries. Solve secret coded messages and go on special training expeditions. Games, snacks, and a SPY movie!

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. This event is in conjunction with our Love and Respect Marriage Event. (Parents are not required to attend the marriage event in order for kids to participate in Spy Kids Academy.)

MSM Amazing Race

Grab your friends and join us for the middle school AMAZING RACE. You’ll embark on a race around the world completing a number of tasks along the way! Keep in mind your greatest resource will be your team as you race against the clock.

Woman to Woman

You are invited to be a part of the monthly Woman to Woman Potluck and Fellowship! We meet on the last Monday of the month.
We have a special guest speaker or activity each month along with a potluck dinner, prayer & fellowship.  This is a great way for all women at Pantano Christian Church to connect with other women. All ages are welcome! Child care is provided free of charge.

Holy Land Trip 2020 Information Meeting

Join Pastor Glen and several other Pantano Pastors as we head to the Holy Land, Germany, and Austria in 2020. We’ll visit Tel Aviv, the Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, Megiddo, Caesarea, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Qumran, the Dead Sea, and Jericho. After visiting the Holy Land, we’ll travel to Munich to visit an Alpine Village and to see churches. We’ll also tour a Castle. Next, we’ll visit Salzburg and then see the world famous Oberammergau Passion Play. We’ll end our trip in Innsbruck, Austria and then return to the USA. We have plenty of time to plan and save!

Mothers of Preschoolers, or MOPS, is a non-denominational, international program designed to support & encourage mothers with preschoolers, infant through kindergarten. Our monthly meetings are filled with opportunities for you to build relationships with other moms, enjoy speakers covering topics of interest & make crafts that are fun & unique. We want to invite you to join us!

We meet the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month from September through May in Pantano Café on campus. Meetings run from 9:30 – 11:30 AM. Your first meeting is free.

While you are enjoying your time with other moms, your children are welcomed into the MOPS Kids program. We have volunteers & paid staff who are excited to care for your little ones. Your child will enjoy stories, crafts, snacks & playtime! The MOPS Kids check-in begins at 9:00 AM.

Haven Totes Food Drive

At Pantano, we feed 105 low income, elementary school age children on the weekends. These children receive easy to prepare, nutritious food each week during the school year. Pantano does this in partnership with Haven Totes. Pantano relies on donations of food and monetary donations to help support this important community outreach program. Pantano currently serves two schools in the Tucson Unified School District and two schools in the Sunnyside School district. The children attending each of these schools come from the poorest of the poor neighborhoods in Tucson.

Please consider donating the following food items to help stock our food pantry with these child-size servings.

  1. Macaroni and Cheese (any brand) Microwave cups 2.5 oz. four count
  2. Chef Boyardee 7.5 ounce Beef Ravioli, Spaghetti Rings and Meatballs or Beefaroni. Can or Microwave bowl
  3. Nabisco Ritz Whole Wheat Crackers Fresh Stack 11.6 oz. eight individual stacks of crackers per box
  4. Bumble Bee Snack on the Run, Tuna/Chicken Salad With Crackers Kit 3.5 oz.
  5. Diced Pears, Mixed Fruit or Mandarin Orange (any brand) 4 oz. cups, four count
  6. Chocolate/Vanilla Pudding (any brand) 5.5 oz. six count
  7. Keebler Chips Deluxe Mini Rainbow Cookies 1 oz. thirty count
  8. Capri Sun or Other Fruit drink (any flavor) Pouches or Boxes 6 oz. ten count or larger

Please place food items behind your vehicle in the parking lot before service. It will be collected during service.

Toddler Time: Community Helpers

What a wonderful day to come and play! Learn about special helpers in your neighborhood. Be sure to visit each room to hear about firefighters, police officers, mailmen, and doctors. Play games, make crafts and be sure to fill your rumbling tummies with a yummy snack.

Toddler Time is a play date for you and your young children where we do all the planning! This is a great opportunity for both you and your little ones to socialize and have fun! Planned for 2-4 year olds, siblings may also attend.

Parent & Child Dedication

Dedications are designed for parents to take time to specifically dedicate their child to God.

We offer parent & child dedication ceremonies twice a year. The next dedication ceremony will be Sunday, October 21 from 4-5PM starting in the Auditorium with a reception to follow in Coop Court. Prior to the Dedication Celebration, parents are required to attend a one-time class on Sunday morning, October 14, during the 11 AM service in room TH4. This class will focus on what a dedication is, as well as provide you with some excellent tools and resources for leading your child.

Community Health Evangelism’s Women’s Cycle of Life Training

Of all the people who live in extreme poverty around the world, 70% of them are women. Many times women are often viewed as inferior to men and of low value, making them easy targets of violence, neglect, and abuse. Women’s Cycle of Life is Community Health Evangelism (CHE) ( curricula and training that provides practical knowledge and skills for safer pregnancy and birth, infant care, small business development, puberty, menopause, nutrition, healthy relationships, biblical truth that transforms, and trafficking prevention.

Toddler Time: Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins, pumpkins, everywhere!! Join us in our mini pumpkin patch where you get to pick your very own pumpkin to take home! Play some pumpkin games and make your very own pumpkin snack! What a pumpkin-perfect day!!!

Twist & Shout Family Sock Hop

It’s time to Rock Around the Clock! Join us for a night of retro games, dancing, and food! We will twist and shout during our Rockin’ 50’s DJ party! This event is open to fun lovin’ families of all ages! You don’t want to miss it so reserve your spots early! Childcare available for kids age 3 and younger.

Children’s Baptism Class

The Children’s Baptism class helps elementary children and their parents answer questions about baptism and aids parents in determining if their child is ready to make this incredible decision. This class is interesting, interactive, and informative for both children and their parents. We ask that at least one parent attend the class with the child.

Registration is encouraged, but not required.
