Rooted facilitates life-change through group discussion, biblical exploration, and practical learning. Weekly readings teach discipleship through Scripture, prayer, worship, generosity, and service.
The Rooted experience takes groups in the church on a 10-week journey of learning and practice. Groups learn foundational Christian beliefs and practice the 7 rhythms of discipleship from the New Testament. The experience challenges and inspires participants to step beyond their comfort zone as they follow Jesus.
Rooted groups meet once a week
All Rooted groups will do a Prayer Experience and a Serve Experience — each take about 3 hours and will be scheduled as a group. All Rooted Groups are also invited to attend our Rooted Celebration on campus.
Capacity for Rooted groups is determined by space restrictions and facilitator requests however, we aim to keep all groups approx 12 people.
Rooted groups accepting new members can be found on our website. Simply find the group you would like to join and click on the registration link. The facilitator will connect with you for more specific details.
To facilitate a Rooted group, you need to:
*Complete a Rooted Experience, attending at least 10 of the 13 weekly sessions
*Fill out a New Rooted Facilitator form based on which campus your group will be based out of.
*Attend a two-hour facilitator training session prior to the start of each semester you facilitate.
