Engage in fellowship with those living in the house by providing or participating in a fun activity, or a meal, etc.
Transport donated items to a foster family or parents working towards regaining custody of their children. The church stores these items and works with Kari and others to meet needs that are entered into the system by DCS.
Are you ready to help? Sign-up to combat the foster care crisis in your neighborhood. A few examples of needs are twin beds, car seats, meal delivery, mentorship, and transportation.
Opportunities for serving include caregiving services for seniors and individuals with disabilities, sorting clothes, delivering mobile meals, or assisting in their food bank.
Welcome an individual or family to Tucson by helping them acclimate to their new environment. Some of their volunteer opportunities include airport welcomes, elementary outreach, and walking alongside refugee moms.
We recommend doing one of the following in your city.
Visit a Senior Home: Seniors enjoy a visit, where you can engage them in an activity or card game or bring them treats to enjoy.
Help a neighbor: Connect with people in your community who are in need of the resources and talents you have to give. From bringing a meal to someone struggling with a medical condition to assisting an elderly person or single mom.
Call your local School: There are often special projects that need addressing throughout the school such as painting or cleaning. Often times they need assistance with fundraisers.
